These Terms govern your use of www.middleclass-revival.com (the “Site”), operated by Middle Class Revival (a nonprofit) (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1) Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old (legal voting age) to join, vote, or submit content. We may request age verification and may disable access if eligibility cannot be verified.
• You are responsible for your account and devices. If you forget your password, use the reset email (“Forgot Password”).

2) Voting rules

• One vote per person, per proposal. Duplicate or fraudulent voting is prohibited and may result in removal or account limits.
• If new proposals are added, we may notify you via email so you can review and vote on them.

3) Donations, refunds, and subscriptions

• Donations are processed by third-party payment providers (e.g., PayPal/Stripe/Mastercard). We do not store your full payment details.
• Refunds: notify us within 10 business days for a full refund where feasible. No refunds after 30 days.
• Monthly donations: you may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges (already-processed monthly donations are not refundable unless required by law).

4) Communications

By providing your email, you consent to receive service communications (e.g., password reset, policy updates, proposal notifications). You may opt out of non-essential messages.

5) Community standards

• No hate speech, antisemitism, harassment, threats, vulgarity, or illegal content.
• No spam, impersonation, doxxing, or attempts to harm the service.
• We may remove content and limit or terminate access immediately for violations.

6) Content and rights

To operate and promote the Site, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works, publish, publicly perform, display, and distribute any content you submit (including proposals and comments), in any media now known or later developed. You acknowledge we may moderate, edit, or remove content at our discretion. We may retain and reuse comments and page content.

7) Intellectual property

Site code, design, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or reverse-engineer except as permitted by law.

8) Third-party services

We use providers like Google Firebase and payment processors. Your use of their features may be subject to their terms and policies.

9) No professional advice

Site content is for civic engagement and information only; it is not legal, financial, medical, or professional advice.

10) Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; your rights may vary.

11) Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content or misuse of the Site.

12) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms or to protect users, our organization, or the service.

13) Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Exclusive venue lies in the state and federal courts located in Texas.

14) Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use means you accept the changes.
